I am an established artist and tutor whose practice is rooted in painting, mixed media and the experimental exploration of drawing processes and creative techniques.

Based at The Island Studios in Bristol, I create and exhibit one-off artworks that respond to people and place. I am inspired by the environments I encounter and often collect found graphic materials from different settings, transforming them into layered collages and abstract paintings. My work embraces experimentation — particularly in drawing — and I enjoy creating unexpected tools to produce expressive, intuitive marks.

Alongside my studio practice, I am an experienced workshop facilitator and an established tutor at the Royal West of England Drawing School, Bristol. I deliver supportive, engaging workshops across the city, working with everyone from complete beginners to professional artists. My teaching encourages creative expression, confidence, development, and a spirit of experimentation.
